Clay all the way Camp

Hand-building, sculpture, and wheel-throwing explored. Artists learned how to create pinch pot's into a musical instrument. How to drape clay to create a human bust. Discussing what makes an object 2D and what makes it 3D and then creating a plaque using both. Discovering how to use slabs of clay to create utilitarian dinnerware. Different projects were introduced and discussed everyday. This hands on camp was very busy and the art that was created was beyond what we would think a 4 year old or even a 14 year old could create! Kids are amazing!!

Our next two Clay all the Way camps will be July 25 and August 29th. The projects you see here will be completely different in both of the future camps. Every day is an opportunity to create something different. Still a few spaces left in the 10:00 and the 3:00 camps. Call 415-596-5546 to sign up and friends or siblings receive 10% discount.
